The other week my friend was in the drivethru somewhere and when she got up to the window the lady said "the person in front of you...paid your bill" That might be a fun service thing...hopefully they don't have a car full of teenagers.
Or rake leaves for someone and bag them while they're gone.
Or make some peanut butter pinecone bird feeders as a service to the birds.
I still love the cookies idea though!

@ jen: THANKS! I'm running a little stale on my ideas, but I am reinvigorated for this week. Love your ideas, especially the bird one (except is it cruel to give the birds a reason to stay and not fly south?)
