There is nothing like getting a hand written, heart-felt note. I was down in the basement going through things and found a bunch of letters from some of my college friends. The reality that we didn't have the internet back then was almost a surprise, like I had forgotten. And we didn't have cell phones. Calling each other cost money we didn't have. We were VERY creative in our letter writing and envelope making. In some ways, I miss it.
EATS: Stale marshmallows, frozen candy, circus peanuts, salad, and green smoothies. READS: YA, blogs, news, old classic literature, picture books. Not a fan of Jane Austen. OWNS: four children and a husband I call Al. CAN BE FOUND: writing, running, eating, painting, crafting, sleeping, singing loudly, chatting. LOATHES: Vacuuming, mopping, folding laundry, swimsuit season.
